At last, the finish line! The incredibly demanding 7,300 km battle has come to an end!
In 2025, after continuously battling the forces of nature, I successfully completed a solo yacht race covering a total distance of 7,300 km and reached the finish line safely.
As you’ll see in the video, life alone at sea was not only about enduring violent storms and relentless waves. There were also breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and even a heartwarming encounter with a seagull I named “Jonathan,” who seemed to accompany me across the ocean.
Pushing through sleep deprivation, loneliness, and fear, I finally reached the finish line at night. The moment I embraced the friends who were waiting for me in the harbor was more moving than words can express.
And yet, this challenge is only the beginning.
I have an even greater dream that I am determined to achieve.
In October 2027, the challenge of a solo non-stop circumnavigation of the globe will finally begin.
“Non-stop” means exactly that: after starting, I will not enter any port anywhere in the world. With only the food and fuel loaded at the start, I will attempt to sail around the entire planet alone—a true, life-risking adventure.
In pursuit of landscapes no one has ever seen, I will continue to sail forward with my yacht.
