New Year’s went well and I was able to open my bottle as planned for the event. Since 12/24, I have been eating cold as the gas pipe is punctured. I went north to relieve the remaining hydro, the other one being at the bottom of the Indian Ocean, and also to relieve the pilot’s attachment which is only held by two screws out of four.
Now I am full east on the edge of depressions. For two days I have had between 25 and 30 knots of wind with a sea a little calmer than further south. This situation allows me to move forward well as too much wind and therefore waves slow down the boat. My goal is still Hobart to retrieve some equipment.
The morale is still there and ready to leave as soon as the repairs are done.
Best,
Louis.
