Does the mainsail always go up head to wind?
Lately, I encounter many sailors who have it ingrained in their minds: to hoist the mainsail, bow into the wind. Well… not always. At sea, more than learning rules by heart, it’s better to understand why we do things. I like people who ask, doubt, and think.
