Tenemos un sistema que quizá hemos entendido al revés.
Sacamos un título para poder navegar, cuando navegar debería ser parte del camino para conseguir ese título.
Porque aprobar un examen te da una titulación. La experiencia, la seguridad y el criterio en la Mar se consiguen navegando.
Mi orden sería otro: primero navegar, aprender y equivocarse. Después, el título.

Maybe we’ve got the system backwards.
We get a licence so we can sail, when sailing should be part of the journey towards getting that licence.
Passing an exam gives you a qualification. Experience, safety and judgement at sea come from actually sailing.
I’d reverse the order: sail first, learn and make mistakes. Then get the licence.
