Marco Nannini - Event Director

Marco Nannini is a sailor, writer and consultant in marketing and communication with a financial background.

I know the commitment it takes to undertake a round the world sailing project. I experienced the sense of achievement it brings and the sacrifice it takes. I never underestimated the risks involved, i learnt the importance of mitigating and managing them. I wish to provide a safe and budget friendly event to achieve a dream that many sailors have.

Josh Hall - EVENT Management Consultant

Josh Hall is an experienced Race Management Consultant with an enviable list of achievements both in terms of offshore yachting experience and as a Project Manager. His skills and vision have proved to be invaluable in Crisis Management situations.

A competitor in such races as the early BOC Challenge, the Around Alone, and the Vendée Globe as well as numerous OSTAR’s and TJV’s, he worked on projects for Emma Richards, Alex Thomson, Steve White and many more as well as famously organising the Global Ocean Race. His contribution to the project is of enormous importance on all aspects of race management and safety requirements definition.

Paul Peggs - External Advisor

Paul Peggs trained as a boat builder after leaving school and has been involved with boat building and composites ever since. 

With a wealth of sailing experience from campaigning a self built carbon Mini 650s to Class40s he is constantly on the go, delivering boats by road by road or sea or involved in a campaign preparation or refit. His contribution as an External Advisor is a very valuable addition to the Event.
