The weather is cooling down

The weather is cooling down, it’s only 10° in the boat. I put on an extra layer and I think it’s boot change tomorrow.
Yesterday morning, it was DIY to remind oneself that sailing is also a mechanical sport:
– Tighten the screws of the upper bearing of the bar
– Repair the halyard of the first reef which broke during an involuntary jibe
– Put back a mainsail batten that had come out of the sleeve on its mast side, which caused me several mast-cockpit round trips.

Regarding the weather, forecast for the last 30 hours: 20 to 23 knots, reality: 27 to 29 knots with gusts of 30 to 35 knots. Goal: finish rounding the current low pressure area then direction the Horn. For the Horn, the morning forecasts are contrary to the evening forecasts so still uncertainties to monitor.
Have a nice day
