Work with the Global Solo Challenge

The Global Solo Challenge is an international solo, non-stop round-the-world sailing event bringing together sailors, partners, media and organisations from around the world.

Following the successful inaugural 2023–2024 edition, the GSC is preparing for its second edition in 2027–2028, with a growing international fleet and an established global audience.

The GSC operates with a small core organisation and a wider international network of partners and collaborators.

Current opportunities are listed below.

Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships

We are looking for independent professionals who can leverage their existing experience, networks and professional relationships to identify and develop potential sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities for the Global Solo Challenge.

The collaboration is flexible and success-based, with commission on commercial partnerships generated, and can be undertaken alongside existing professional commitments. Representatives may focus on particular countries, industries or sectors according to their experience and professional network.

We are particularly interested in people who can open relevant conversations and recognise opportunities where the GSC and a potential partner could create genuine value together.

If you have relevant experience and relationships and would like to explore working with the Global Solo Challenge, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Other professional collaborations

As the Global Solo Challenge develops, other opportunities for professional, freelance, project-based and commercial collaboration may arise.

If you have specialist expertise or an idea for a collaboration that you believe could create meaningful value for the event, we are happy to consider relevant proposals even where no specific opportunity is currently advertised.
